initially we wanted to do a river cruise on the moselle, but we missed the start ( couldn't find a parking lot right away & thus were too late for the moselle cruise ). we decided to participate on a rhine cruise instead but had some time to kill until the ship took off. so we made a walk through koblenz's inner city.

we've visited a lot of churches in koblenz. now it happened that i forgot where i shot these pictures '_'; i think it was the church of our beloved lady.

we made a short walk by the rhine and then walked back to the landing where our ship would be taking off. this was by the pfaffendorf bridge. near the weindorf koblenz.
ehrenbreitstein fortress. the last time we were in koblenz we made our way up there because the german horticultural show of 2011 took place there. it is quite an impressing fortress.

this is a remnant of the horticultural show. the cable car rides over the rhine and i bet there's a fantastic view on koblenz up there. we never rode the cable cars though, but it's on my list to do before i die '_';
