the fasanerie, our local animal park, is one of my absolute favourite places in wiesbaden. i try to visit at least twice a year, sometimes even more, depends on how much i crave seeing animals, haha. there is nothing much to add here, because i clearly posted about this place quite a lot in the past. every now and then they re-install/re-build new compounds for the animals, and it's always great to see them in a bigger and more adventurous habitat. like the old compounds always tend to be quite small, and even though i know that them animals are not fit for the wilderness, you still, as a visitor, want them to have a place they can move around in and spread out and not turn crazy. so i truly support every innovation they invest in & donate as much as i'm able to, to keep this animal park ( that, by the way, takes not entrance fees at all! ) going. relaxing deer. that stag got quite beautiful antlers. storks and geese sharing food. the eagle owls & ...
