i need to quickly catch up with my photos, a plan has ripened in my head, that i need to start the new year really fresh. no legacies. i also think i should bring more diversity into this little blog of mine. maybe write a fews texts once in a while, about things that move me or recommendations... just something with more substance. something that will remind me of the person i was when i return back in 5 years to see what i've been up to in 2013.
but until then, i really need to blog those posts. no more procrastination. let's see if i can keep up. let's start with some more autumnal pictures in a time when christmas should be on your mind. but on the other hand: isn't it also important to reflect on the past?
spider webs in my parent's garden.
i love the colours of this tree. always. it's the autumn tree of my childhood.
tiny mushrooms on wood.
a foggy evening.
medieval stage on the onion market in weimar. did not shoot more photos. i feel with every year i'm getting older, i try to grasp things more with my eyes than with my camera.
warm flames.
one day my parents, my brother and me did another round of mushroom hunting. we ended up at the barrage lütsche - a lake i haven't visited before. it really wasn't nice weather when we started our tour, but the sun would eventually peek out the clouds in the afternoon. and the lake was really beautiful and kind of dramatic looking. we sure have little unknown jewels in my home state :)
a picture perfect fly amanita.
i loved the mossy grounds and baby mushrooms showing their small heads. we surely made a good catch this time around, our basket was so full in the end that the mushrooms toppled out of it the whole way back, haha.
and the farn woods were beautiful, too.
my brother found the skull of a wild boar. it was still in decay and i didn't take it with me. i once found a deer's skull, too and took it home. i'm still owning it. one of my most loved possessions.
more amanita.
finally the clouds gave way for the sun.
the beach with its stones and rotten wood stumps was quite magic.
a view onto the barrage.
when we drove back we spotted little bright dots amongst the green. the trees turned autumnal really late this year. i feel like everything's a month too late. in early december it still felt like the middle of autumn.
colours next to my work place.
this church is also situated right next to my work place.
a mushroom meal! it was delicious.
waking up to beautiful sunshine.
and the trees coloured themselves in the best reds and yellows and browns.
