frankfurt zoo.

i've been to the frankfurt zoo a few times already, this time i had my parents with me who never visited it before. i guess it's safe to say that they liked the zoo as much as i do. if you want us to show something in your area simply pick out an animal park or zoo and we'd be happy and content for the rest of the day, haha. the lion staying in the shadows, it was a very hot day. i love the playfulness the otters exhibit at all times of the day :) strange little birds walking around throughout the park. i think they're some kind of coot. fennec sleep! howdy! birds of prey generally are really fascinating. these are bateleur eagles. rhino in the sun. sacred baboon family. kookaburras! laughing jackasses ;) spotted thick-knees. nicobar pigeon. sable antelope. ah~ sea horses. this is a stonefish. they are highly toxic! imagine you find this stone-lookalike and then stepping on it. it is ...

koblenz & rhine shippery.

initially we wanted to do a river cruise on the moselle , but we missed the start ( couldn't find a parking lot right away & thus were too late for the moselle cruise ). we decided to participate on a rhine cruise instead but had some time to kill until the ship took off. so we made a walk through koblenz 's inner city. former prussian government building . this was not far away from our  landing. we've visited a lot of churches in koblenz. now it happened that i forgot where i shot these pictures '_'; i think it was the church of our beloved lady . forum confluentes , modern architecture monsters. the roof of the old city halls. the schängelbrunnen . the boy spits water from time to time :) entry of the jesuit abbey . it was very modern inside. a bird on the historiensäule on the görresplatz . it's very remarkable fountain that tell koblenz's history in different stages. the last scene. flowers and...
