photogenius # 2.

i'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, for not updating at all. i bet you're sick hearing that work is a full-time-job for me as of now, and all i want to do when coming home is having a huge portion of sleep. my car is is broke now ( oh, it's just the engine... AGAIN! ) and i don't really have time to search after appartements and my mind is also fucking me. yeah. there are days where i like to put an end to everything, where i think i should close my eyes shut forever. but inside me, the tough mari is still in hope of better times to come. what a way to start this week's photogenius-theme. # james meakin photography - rich colours, inspirations from traditional clothings all around the world. i love james meakin's whimsical view of fashion. # natasha poly by glen luchford for V # 63 january/february 2010 - natasha poly makes tousled hair look good. and i don't have to feel guilty anymore when my hair is unkempt for a day, haha. and it isn't really the c...

i just found the most wonderful photographies i've spied lately. the photography of kirsty mitchell is almost too beautiful to bear. i love this fantasy-influenced, rich coloured and detailed stuff, really. it almost hurts to look at such beauty and talent, huh?

i've decided to split the weekly glee sections into sections of their own. ( because i have no time to do a proper weekly glee post anymore. work is consuming my life. and i need to take care of non-internet things as well, like finding a good place to live in after the last day of april. ) plus it's also more comfortable for you guys, since you don't have to deal with huge chaotic posts anymore, haha. let's start. aj abualrub, blaine cook, cheyne hannegan, terron wood by blair getz mezibov for men's vogue china - fly-fishing guys dressed in vintage-styled clothes = nostalgia. it's rare that i like men's photography, but this time the concept made me fall in love. the colours of asia by palani moh an - these shots are so ingenious and incredible! palani mohan manages to capture the colours of the bright asian continent so well. this set should totally remind you, how awesome our planet is. and that every tradition needs to be preserved. especially the ol...

the beginning of 2010.

one of my resolutions for this year is the one of trying to increase my blogging content. i'm a photographaholic and didn't upload a lot of my shoots last year. i miss uploading my photos on a regular basis ( internet's just too slow... ), but i will try really hard! the year ended with a nice party ( raclette eating, talking, and watching fireworks from a balcony, remember? ), which resulted starting 2010 with going dancing and being quetsched up in the tiniest club ever! ( i don't recommend going in such clubs, you can't dance, you just drink and wait for guys to grab your ass - that, my lovelies, was not very nice, haha ). it was always tradition back home in thuringia, that my family and me would be doing our annual new year's walk. i'm holding this tradition dear and so i was off to my favourite place in wiesbaden: la fasanerie! it's a small animal park with a lot of charme :D but first i woke up to this idyll: new year's walk:
