weekly glee # 8 2009.

woot, time for interesting things again! it's lovely weather outside and i'm craving to go swimming! so let's start! 1. desertions. ship abandonment / les baux de palm springs # the ship by mysicant - wonderful and dangerous shoots of an abandoned ship. this must be a thrilling site! # les baux de palm springs on luxist.com - well, this house isn't exactly abandoned, but on sale! and what a wonderful villa this is! situated on a hill with a lot of stones around and very natural and beautiful. and the furniture is fantastically old-styled! 2. photogenius. redheads overload. # gisele bündchen by phil poynter - transformation from young to old. great! # lara stone & baptiste giabiconi by karl lagerfeld for harper's bazaar 2009 - very mundane venice and canale grande photoshoot. karl lagerfeld is a very fantastic photographer and i love his points of view on fashion topics. he can be pretty self-ironic, which is something i really like about him. # mona johan...

i'm a huge fan of the 60ies, and am especially smitten by the end of this decade. woodstock would've been the festival for me to attend, not because of love & peace, but the many outstanding musicians! but whatever, this little cartoon was found on the wonderful blog dreamtime - a commentary inspired by bob dylan's theme time radio hour - and it shows the difficulties in mentioning 'the who' and now i'm off rolling around on the floor! SLAPPY: The name of the group. SKIPPY: Who. SLAPPY: The group on stage. SKIPPY: Who. SLAPPY: The group playing on stage. SKIPPY: Who. SLAPPY: You're starting to sound like an owl, Skippy. SKIPPY: Who is on stage! SLAPPY: That is what I'm askin' ya', who is on stage? SKIPPY: That's what I said. SLAPPY: You said who? SKIPPY:...

hello m'dears, it's time for gleeful things again! i decided to split this project in 3 parts which will be 'desertions', 'photogenius', and 'diversity'. because every week i find something wonderful in those sections. 1. desertions. # decaying detroit by caseyj . metropolitan building and a warehouse in the warehouse district. beautiful compositions! i especially loved the chair ones and the one with the toilet ( poop here! haha ). # montzen by elektrocute . handsome abandoned trainstation or depot! i love the details in here, like the bird nest or the blue doors. # three shelters by dj_axle . i have a huge interest in all kind of churches, because the architectural work is one of the greatest humans ever invented. this church is situated in buffalo and called church of transfiguration. and oh, and what a church it is. truly gorgeous in its decay. 2. photogenius. # keira knightley by annie leibovitz for vogue us 2005 . a wizard of oz-based photosho...
