view from domplatz to marktstraße & allerheiligenkirche. erfurt - this city conjures up a feeling of nostalgia, it is full of memories and recollections of my younger years, growing up very close to it! i've been there numerous times from the time i was born until my early 20ies, before moving to wiesbaden. while this city now is nostalgic and precious to me, during the time i have lived in thuringia, i haven't always looked so favourably at this city. it was too big for me, too busy, at times it looked devastated and dirty even. looking back now i realize that my teenage self was doing it a big injustice, and over the years more and more wonderful memories have started to re-emerge and i have started to love this city on every rare visit i have made in recent years. i actually now love it so much, that i would even consider moving to this city, which has always been a big no-go for me in the past, preferring the much more idyllic and smaller city of weimar. erfurt has a m...
