these are photos i shot while i was doing errands in the city, or when i needed to take a break once in a while, when the four walls of my home are too narrow for me. wiesbaden has quite an assortment of art nouveau architecture, as most of the houses here were erected around 1900, when the city flourished due to its spa bath houses and the fact that the e mperor wilhelm and his family were continuing guests. wiesbaden was always a rich city, it still is. and since i love everything art nouveau it's a little pleasure to the eye for me. every now and then you spot little reliefs in random walls all around the town. sometimes i can't even remember where i shot the photos, as it just happened to this one. on the old cemetery ( which is open for the public all year round and serves as a recreational facility ) there is this beautiful grave memorial for princess pauline of württemberg, duchess of nassau . hessia & rhineland palatinate were once a stat...
