concerts.

in late august i met up with n. on our best festival in wiesbaden: folklore . we initially wanted to meet up earlier for seeing more bands but it was rainy and so we just went to see sdp - a german duo making hip hop/ pop music. they're what i call a 'fun music' band. nothing too deep, but with a few sharp edges. and you can't do anything but dance and jump with them. they're sweeping, haha. one of the rooms of the schlachthof - THE alternative venue of wiesbaden's youth and young people. well, i'm not a frequent guest of this club, unfortunately. going alone scares me too much and since none of my friends in wiesbaden have similar music taste i rarely come around here. plus... i never really have the time to attend concerts. maybe i should make it a goal to check out the concert program and maybe going to more of the schlachthof concerts in future. otherwise i'll be missing out good bands or artists again and again. like when i realiz...

forest walks.

one of my most favourite things to do when i've got the time is having walks in forests. they bear some kind of calm & quietude that i miss in the city. i'm fortunate enough to have a lot of forests around in the area i'm living in. i never have to drive far. i'm a nature girl by heart, and if there wasn't nature around me, i think i'd really shrink mentally. i need this to readjust, to extract the power i need for living in the city. it's a reminder to me as to how beautiful the world is beyond work stress and dealing with humans.  i turned 25 last week and my patience with humans and the interaction involved is at a new low. maybe there is such a thing as quarter life crisis. fact is, i do not search my inner freedom in interacting with people. my inner freedom can be found when i walk around in places like these. that's when i feel the most child-like and not ripped off my emotions. various wood types. another bank pi...
