dresden pt. 4.

hello, all! i know, there was huge break between the last post and this one, but it was because i was working all week ( and still am - no day off ), but today i could go home in time ( like 20 minutes after work officially ended for me ), so i have some time for this last dresden post :D no big words, off we go! the last day we made a boat sight seeing on the elbe ( and before that visited the 'grüne gewölbe' - so there's a few 'not on board' photos as well ). we started in dresden and ended up in pillnitz ( with the wonderful castle pillnitz - which we did not explore any further, unfortunately. ) it was a very sunny day and perfect for making a boat trip! i even got my regular sun burn - it's a rule by now, everytime i'm on a boat sun has to kiss me! ) in the morning. there were horses nearby our accommodation. the catholic church again. silhouettes. lion head in front of the grüne gewölbe. frauenkirche! it was crowded everytime we passed here. which wa...

dresden pt. 3.

as you have noticed i shot a loooot of pictures of my trip to dresden. i could have been shooting even more! that's how dresden is, it's huge and full of sightseeings and little details. don't let me tell you about the details. your eyes will explode if you try to grasp every detail dresden has to offer, be it on buildings, statues, treasures, everything. one of the zwinger buildings. the zwinger court. where the nymphs are taking a bath. i loved this little garden, so peaceful. a nymph with child. nymphs over nymphs. and we were all witnesses of a historical procession. the zwinger pond. love the autumn colours! the former cigarette factory ' yenidze '. oriental breeze in dresden. the new synagogue of dresden. the wonder that is autumn. the 'elbwiesen' ( elbe meadows ) with 'elbcastles' in the background. lingner castle and castle eckberg . early evening view onto the old city of dresden. to end the day, we also visited castle moritzburg . it...
